City of Mount Gambier has BBQs at Blue Lake/Warwar conservation area (with playground, picnic area and views of the famous lake), Valley Lakes area, and various parks and reserves throughout the city.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Mount Gambier?

<p>Portable BBQs permitted subject to fire restrictions.</p><p>During <strong>Total Fire Ban days</strong>, only gas/electric BBQs are permitted.</p>

Can I book a BBQ facility for exclusive use?

<p>To hold a BBQ event on Council land, complete a <strong>Special Events Permit Application</strong>.</p><p>A By-Law Permit is required for certain activities on public land and community reserves.</p>
