City of Mount Gambier has BBQs at Blue Lake/Warwar conservation area (with playground, picnic area and views of the famous lake), Valley Lakes area, and various parks and reserves throughout the city.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in Mount Gambier?

Portable BBQs permitted subject to fire restrictions.

During Total Fire Ban days, only gas/electric BBQs are permitted.

Can I book a BBQ facility for exclusive use?

To hold a BBQ event on Council land, complete a Special Events Permit Application.

A By-Law Permit is required for certain activities on public land and community reserves.
